Multipurpose cooperatives bring different community needs under one cooperative framework, enabling members to organise economic activities and access services suited to their local requirements. In Uttar Pradesh, these societies form part of a diverse cooperative network spanning rural and urban communities. Depending on their registered objectives and activities, they may support agriculture, input supply, marketing or other member-focused services.
