Brief Details:
The global cooperative law fraternity is set to convene in Moshi, Tanzania, on 13–14 November 2025 for the 5th International Forum on Cooperative Law. The event will be hosted by Moshi Cooperative University, in collaboration with Ius Cooperativum and the ICA Cooperative Law Committee (ICA-CLC).
With the theme “Cooperative Law and Sustainable Development: Past, Present and Future,” the Forum will delve into how evolving cooperative legal frameworks contribute to sustainable development, examined through a rigorous legal and policy perspective.
Coinciding with the 2025 UN International Year of Cooperatives, this edition of the Forum provides a timely and dynamic platform for legal scholars, cooperative leaders, policymakers, and researchers to exchange knowledge and experiences from around the world.
Interested participants are invited to submit abstracts by 15 July 2025. Selected papers will be considered for publication in the International Journal of Cooperative Law and/or an edited volume.
