Anand, December 2025: As 2025 draws to a close, Amul — India’s beloved dairy cooperative known for its witty and culturally resonant Amul Topicals — has launched a special fan-driven event encouraging audiences to pick their favourites from this year’s creative crop. The Amul Topical Contest 2025 invites fans to vote for their top three favourite topical ads of the year and stand a chance to win exclusive Amul gift hampers, adding a playful twist to the end-of-year wrap-up. Voting is open via the official poll platform here: https://pollunit.com/polls/amultopicalcontest2025

Celebrating a Unique Advertising Legacy

Amul has long been a standout in Indian advertising thanks to its Topicals — cartoon ads featuring the instantly recognisable Amul girl offering sharp, humorous commentary on news, culture, sports, entertainment and social trends. These bite-sized visual gags have been part of India’s popular culture for decades and are widely appreciated for their clever wordplay and timely relevance.

A Nostalgic Tradition Meets Fan Engagement

The Amul girl, a hand-drawn mascot dressed in a polka-dotted frock with her trademark blue hair, has graced billboards and digital feeds for nearly sixty years, making Amul’s campaign one of the longest-running advertising initiatives in the nation’s history. Over time, these Topicals have become much more than product ads — they’re cultural touchstones that reflect what’s captured public attention over the past year.

This year’s contest transforms fans from passive viewers into active participants, asking them to select the three Topicals they think best captured the spirit of 2025. Whether it’s clever takes on global sporting moments, blockbuster movie crazes or other headline-grabbing events, voters can weigh in on what resonated most with them.

Public Engagement at the Core

Amul’s approach to moment marketing — quickly turning current events into shareable creative content — has helped keep the brand relevant across generations. The Topical Contest 2025 extends that tradition, giving fans a platform to celebrate creativity and community engagement while amplifying the brand’s reach at a time when digital interaction continues to define marketing success.

As interest in Amul Topicals remains strong, the contest not only spotlights the best of this year’s visual wit but also underscores how advertising can evolve into participatory culture. Fans have until the contest deadline to cast their votes — and maybe walk away with some tasty rewards.

Keeping the Amul Spirit Alive

In a message shared with participants, Team Amul thanked contributors and voters for being part of the journey and for “keeping the spirit of the Amul Topical alive.” The brand highlighted how the Amul girl has continued to witness and comment on history, remaining relevant across generations.

With digital engagement playing an increasingly important role in brand communication, the contest also reflects how legacy cooperatives are adapting to contemporary platforms while staying true to their roots.

How to Participate

Contest is open upto 31st December, 2025. Participants can choose their three favourite Amul Topicals of 2025 by visiting the official contest page: https://pollunit.com/polls/amultopicalcontest2025
